UK Shoppers to Spend £13bn Online this ChristmasIf you think the credit crunch will make for a miserly Christmas for most families this year, think again. Online retail sales are set to benefit and some experts have already claimed that this is one area that won't be as badly affected. Consumers are looking for any way to save money and obviously the best savings can be made right from your desk. These predictions have just been backed up by IMRG and Capgemini, who reckon UK online shoppers will spend around £215 each in the last quarter of this year, a total of over £13billion. £320 million of this will be spent on the 8th of December between 1pm and 2pm. We're not quite sure how they came up with this figure and this small a window, perhaps this is the date that many stores claim is the latest time to guarantee Christmas delivery. These figures are 15% higher than the same period last year but apparently overall growth is down from last year's 54% rise. How much of this amount will be spent trying to find the Wii
